The designs
here are good examples of matching designs to the songs.
Design
for the internet-only released song. I took visual images that matched
specific lyrics and combined them with some interpretive images. The fireman
in the design was placed using two different states of expression since
the song could almost be written from a firefighter's point of view. He
is also placed as a tribute to the unsung mental anguish that these heroes
go through so often. The siren lights and the driver are images that follow
the opening lyrics of the song. The headlight lines represent the "could
have been me" lyrics as well as the moral of being too rushed in
our lives. The bright white light is the light of life representing the
calling to the light when there is no longer a tomorrow. The child statue
represents the "somebody's baby" lyric.
